Boston Build Week 4! I recruited my mom and sister to film my threshold workout while on family vacation in Colorado. My sea-level threshold pace is around 5:45 per mile… but we’ll see how it feels at 6,800 feet of altitude 😅 Will I need to slow the paces to hit the volume? Or can I push through with roughly 7% less oxygen available than at sea level? On Saturday, I’m back with my St. Louis training partners for a big Canova-style long run: 6 × (3K at marathon pace + 1K float) - that’s 24K (~15 miles) of quality work inside a 20-mile session.
